To get started on making changes to your vehicle ownership, we must first obtain the current title. Once we receive your current title, we’ll submit it for transfer to your trust. We’ll send off for your title with these documents:

Typically, your vehicle title must match the name on the lien. Since your vehicle still has a lien, you’ll need permission from your lienholder or bank to proceed with transferring ownership to a trust. You can still add a transfer on death to your title. If you’d like to proceed with that, click the logo or home button at the top of the page and follow the transfer on death process.
