You’ll need to make sure you have your driver’s license, trust documents, vehicle insurance, and vehicle title to begin. If you can’t locate your title, our questionnaire will help you obtain a new copy so we can get started.

If you want to transfer the title to a trust, you’ll either need permission from your lienholder to change the ownership or you’ll need to pay off the loan first.

You can also simply add a transfer on death to your title and keep the ownership the same for now.

The questionnaire you’ll need to complete should only take a few minutes! Once we’ve received your questionnaire and the original vehicle title (either from you or from the state if we need to order a duplicate), we’ll submit the title work to the state. The time the state takes to process title work varies, but we usually have your title back within a couple of weeks.

If you are unable to locate your vehicle title, we can order a duplicate from the state for you! The questionnaire will gather all the necessary information to get that process started.
